Mouse-ear Hawkweed

When you first look at this flower, most people think it is a dandelion. But you can tell the difference as the stems are much slimmer on the hawkweed, and the leaves have smooth edges.

The leaves are stiff and covered in wool, white hairs – they look a bit live mouse ears, which is where the name of the plant comes from.
